Everything Cupcakes

Baking, Icing, Piping

In this class we will be learning basic cupcake making.

We will be learning fundamentals of frosting by making at least two types of frosting.

We will be filling icing bags, and learning how to measure and cut bags to place tips inside.

Learning new tips and techniques to make your cupcakes look just like bakery cupcakes will be easy and a fun way to spend the evening.

Classes $30 with a minimum of 4 students.

Cake Decorating Basics

Baking, Filling, Finishing

Cake decorating begins with a solid cake to cut, fill and frost. Let’s begin by learning the basics of cake baking and move on to cutting cakes and preparing to fill and crumb coat the cake. After a beautiful crumb coat, we will ice the cake and learn a couple techniques to make the wall straight and smooth.

Some piping techniques will be taught to finish your cakes!

Class will be an hour and a half.

$40 We will need 4 sign ups before a date is determined.

All About Frosting

Types, Methods, Piping

This is a fun class for all ages! This class will be a knowledge builder of different styles of frosting, methods to making them, and intense work on piping techniques. Utilizing an array of icing tips, we will practice, practice, practice our understanding of hand pressure, and squeezing techniques. If you want to learn how to fill and ice with a piping bag, this is your class!!

Class will be an hour and a half.

$35 We will need 4 sign ups before a date is determined.

Quick Breads

Scones, Biscuits

In this class we will learn our way around the short dough. We get our hands real dirty squishing butter and tossing it around in flour. Scones and biscuits take a patience that comes from practice and knowledge of leavening and tender hands. We will make house gravy, chocolate gravy, and vanilla bean glaze for our scones!!
